Visa tackles trend of girls dropping out of sport

New research reveals age 15 is Australia’s peak age for girls dropping out of sport, with 60% of girls saying they don’t currently have a female sports star they look up to. Visa PlayOn – an initiative by Visa and Year13 - highlights the many long-term physical, mental and community benefits, and makes role models more visible and accessible to encourage young girls to stay in sport.

Who is hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup™?

For the first time ever, Australia and New Zealand will co-host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™. This will be the first FIFA Women’s World Cup™ to be hosted in multiple countries and also the first to be held in the southern hemisphere.
